Hey Baby Girl,
Oh, how I prayed for the day that I would be blessed with something as special as you.
There was actually a time when we weren't so sure this was going to happen for your daddy and me, but we thank our lucky stars and the Good Lord above that He chose you to be ours. We pray for all of the families that are struggling making their little families complete like you have made ours complete. I will never take your sweet life for granted.
Right now, you are just 9 small ounces,18 weeks and 3 days old, and measuring in the 59th percentile in your mama's belly. You aren't making me feel all that great every day (lol), but you are more than worth it.
I remember the nights of sadness waiting for you. The absolute aching for you in my belly. You were all your dad and I wanted and now we have you. We cannot wait to hold your hand, see your smile, hear your laughs, cries, hiccups, and even tantrums in just 5 short months.
Our life will never be the same, Baby Girl.

Before you officially enter this world, I want to let you in on a just a few little secrets about what you are getting yourself into here on this Earth with these silly people who already love you unconditionally.
- You have 7 crazy, but oh-so-special cousins who are so ready for you to get here to play with, dress up with, and become their new BFF.
- Your cousin, Bella, will be your little bestie/mini mama, I already know it. She has already planned out trips to come take care of you here in Indianapolis. Don't worry, you're going to love her. You'll always be in good hands with that one.
- All of your aunts, uncles, Mimis, Grandpas, and even your GREAT grandparents have been praying for you to come into this world. They may just be as thrilled as your dad and me.
- Your daddy is going to love you so much he won't even know how to handle it!! Man, are you lucky to have him as a daddy. He loves to talk to you and put his hand on you every day. He's a little silly sometimes, but you're going to love him just as much.
- You have a crazy little furry bro, Finn. Not sure how he's going to handle your arrival quite yet... TBD.

Now that you have the low down on your crazy, not-so-small family, I want you to remember the following life advice from your mama...
- I will ALWAYS have your back.
- You could never make me mad at you. I will always love you no matter what the situation is.
- Being kind is ALWAYS the right decision. It is the only thing in this world that is important. Kindness. You'll never regret it.
- Please try to love yourself like I love you. You are perfect in every single way. Never change yourself to make everyone else feel more comfortable.
- ALWAYS treat others how you want to be treated.
- Trust your gut, it is smarter than you think.
- 5 close REAL friends is way more important than 150 fake ones.
- Be brave! Do the unexpected.
- When you are angry, wait 30 seconds before reacting. ( I learned this one from your Aunt Ashley!)
- Never lose sight of the power of Faith
- Mistakes make you human. Shake it off and keep going.
- When you feel anxious or scared, say a prayer and go for a walk.
- (When you get MUCH older) Always choose the nerdy one. I swear he will be better than any other "cool guy" out there. Plus, you are probably nerdier than you think.
- Raisins are still awful. Don't let anyone else tell you differently.
- Don't start an argument on social media. It's pointless and will bring unneeded hate into the world and stress into your heart.
- You can agree to disagree with someone and STILL be friends.
- Actions speak way louder than words ever could.
- It really is actually cool to be different.
- Comparison is the thief of joy. Learn to love what you have and what you are.
- Every day is a stinking GIFT from ABOVE.
- What might be bothering you one day, probably won't matter in 5 years so try to see the big picture in little situations.
- Pay attention in history class... lol ( learn from your mama's mistakes and be more like your dad on this one)
- Go to bed angry. You'll sleep on it and things will seem much clearer in the morning.
- Always wave when someone lets you in their lane while driving.
- Get gas BEFORE you leave. ALWAYS. (again, learn from your mama's mistakes)
- When in doubt, call your mama (or your dad)
Baby Girl, this life can get to be a lot sometimes, but keep each of these tid-bits in mind and you'll be just fine.
Always remember that you are the answer to every one of my prayers and my every dream come true. I cannot wait to meet you and snuggle you. I promise to be for you what my mama has always been for me. You will never be alone in this life.

I already love you more than I ever thought humanly possible.
Love,
Your Mama
P.S. Have a little grace with me, I am new here. ;)

That was in my head the whole time I was writing! ♥️ I can’t wait for her to meet Aunt Gab!
Crying happy tears! This will be so special to read again someday when she’s older!
